Partners are stored in the system so that they can appear dynamically in the footer of every page under the Featured Partners and Donors heading. By default, a random partner will appear in the footer every time a page is loaded. There is the ability to make only one partner show at all times which is set by editing the partner and checking the Featured Partner checkbox.
Adding and editing partners
From the WordPress dashboard, click Partners on the left menu to bring up the full listing. To edit an existing entry, click its name in the list; to add a new entry, click Add New at the top of the page.
On the Edit Partners page, there are several fields available:
- Title: the name of the partner.
- Logo: the logo for the partner.
- Link: optional – link to the partner’s website.
- Featured Partner: if set, this will make the partner show up in the footer at all times until the box is unchecked. No more than one partner at a time should have this field checked.
Be sure to click Publish or Update to make your changes live.
