Maryland Humanities has chosen the first four sites to host Crossroads: Change in Rural America, a traveling Smithsonian Institution exhibition, which will tour five communities throughout Maryland from September 2022 to June 2023. This is through Maryland Humanities Museum on Main Street program.

Maryland Humanities recently received a combined total of $132,188 primarily for innovative civics and history education offerings from the Library of Congress’ Teaching with Primary Sources Program and National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH).
Voices and Votes: Democracy in America, a traveling Smithsonian Institution exhibition, heads to the Sandy Spring Museum in Montgomery County. The museum hosts the exhibition October 8—November 21, 2021.

Maryland Humanities is pleased to announce it has awarded $99,498 in grants to 10 organizations based in in Maryland. The grantees span Baltimore City and six Maryland counties:  Caroline County, Frederick County, Montgomery County, Prince George’s County, St. Mary’s County, and Talbot County.
