One Maryland One Book Discussion [There There by Tommy Orange]

Wicomico joins readers from across the state of Maryland as we read and discuss this year’s One Maryland One Book – There There by Tommy Orange. Tommy Orange writes of the plight of the urban Native American, the Native American in the city, in a stunning novel that grapples with a complex and painful history, with an inheritance of beauty and profound spirituality, and with a plague of addiction, abuse, and suicide.

We will be meeting at the Paul S. Sarbanes Branch on Tuesday, November 14th at 5pm. Registration is required.
