Join us for a special screening and discussion of the documentary film “Invincible-Haiti Pushes Forward” at the Sarbanes Branch of Wicomico Public Library in Meeting Room 1.
Film Synopsis:
“Invincible-Haiti Pushes Forward” is a compelling documentary that delves into the untold stories of Haitian resilience and innovation. Through personal narratives and expert interviews, the film captures the spirit of a nation rebuilding itself after natural disasters, political turmoil, and economic challenges. It highlights the contributions of everyday Haitians towards sustainable development, cultural preservation, and community empowerment.
This is a One Maryland One Book program inspired by this year’s selection What Storm, What Thunder by Myriam J. A. Chancy.
